Well if this is the case, Aer Lingus is set to hire some baggage handlers to work at Dublin Airport with fantastic pay and if that doesn’t seal the deal, the excellent job perks that are on offer certainly will.
The Irish airline is currently hiring for a number of full-time roles for Baggage Hall Operatives in the Ground Operations Department based at the airport - with pay of €15.81 per hour on the cards.
The jobs advert from Aer Lingus reads: "On offer is a market leading total remuneration package of over €15.81 per hour (includes shift allowance).

"These are permanent positions, which are available from October 2023. The work is physically demanding and involves working, as part of a team, whilst adhering to strict health and safety including Covid-19 protocols and security standards.
"These roles are shift positions and will commence in October of 2023."
The rota will be handed out to successful candidates monthly and it requires employees to work over a seven-day period, meaning you could be on either weekends or bank holidays.
Aer Lingus is looking for a team player as candidates are required to work together as one team to provide below-wing ground support to facilitate the on-time departure and arrival of our aircraft.
Do not worry if you aren’t experienced as the airline has said that all successful candidates will receive full training.
Aer Lingus is looking for individuals who work to tight deadlines while producing high-quality work, who are able to work as a team, and who are conscious of the health and safety that is part of the job.
There are a number of essential criteria that must be met by applicants for these roles:
Essential criteria
- Be at least 18 years of age at the closing date of this notice
- Pass a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process
- Provide verifiable references
- Full EU driving licence
- Eligible to live and work in the E.U
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written - Good communication skills – both spoken and written
- Willing to work a range of shift duties in a 24 hour, seven-day-a-week operation.
- Flexible, committed, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
- Be physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
- Be prepared to adhere to all Aer Lingus PPE requirements
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Non-Irish citizens will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from their home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months within the last 5 years, you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries.
