St Patrick’s Athletic have snapped up Brandon Kavanagh from Derry City.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder arrives at Richmond Park for an undisclosed fee, with the length of contract described as “multi-year”.
“I spoke to Jon about his plans for the club and I'm excited for the future here,” said the former Shamrock Rovers man.

“Pat's have done really well over the last couple of seasons, they've just won the cup again, they play good football and the supporters have been excellent, it's something I really want to be part of and I can't wait to get to work.”
Kavanagh was an underage player with Bohemians before he moved to Rovers, where he made his Premier Division debut against Bray Wanderers in 2018.
After winning an FAI Cup in 2019 and a league title the following year, he moved to Bray Wanderers on loan in 2021 and transferred to Derry City 12 months later.
He won another FAI Cup in 2022, this time with the Candystripes, while he scored nine goals in 72 appearances for the Foylesiders.
Pat’s boss Jon Daly welcomed the new signing, saying: “I'm delighted to get Brandon in.
“I've seen him play live numerous times and I've always come away impressed by his performances, he is a very talented player.
“I've no doubt Brandon will fit into the group really well and we're very happy to welcome him to the club.”
