Britney Spears has appeared to make a cryptic swipe at her sister Jamie Lynn ahead of her I'm A Celebrity debut.
Jamie Lynn has been confirmed at one of the 10 stars heading into the Australian jungle for the new series of the ITV reality show, which airs on Virgin Media in Ireland, alongside the likes of EastEnders star Danielle Harold, Nigel Farage and JLS singer Marvin Humes.
However, it looks like Britney has made a sly comment after news broke of Jamie Lynn joining the show. Taking to social media, the Gimme More singer appeared to make her feelings clear about her sister's new job.
As it was confirmed Jamie Lynn was heading on the show, Britney posted a quote, originally by Ernest Hemingway, which read: "All things truly wicked start from innocence." She didn't comment on what she was referring to but did add a pink heart.
Ahead of her jungle experience, Jamie Lynn admits people have a huge misconception of her, something she's keen to rise above. She explained: "There is literally every misconception you can have on a person about me so I don’t take any of it seriously.
"But I do think going on I’m A Celebrity will be a nice way for people to see the real me. This is an opportunity to be myself and do something really cool and have some awesome experiences in the meantime."
Discussing how her life might help her jungle experience, she added: "I think my best quality is the fact that it takes a lot to hurt my feelings. Unless you are my children or my immediate family, nothing is going to hurt me. I can take a lot of s**t and it doesn’t get me down, so I really think it’s a good quality to have in a place where a lot of stuff is thrown at you!"
Jamie Lynn talked through going on the show with her family before she signed up.
"When they approached me, the first thing I had to do was talk it over with my family and my kids to make sure they were ok about me being gone for this amount of time. Once I got the all-clear from everybody, I was like, ‘Yeah, let’s go,'" she said.
Reports have suggested Britney and Jamie Lynn's relationship has been fractious for sometime but recently Britney seemingly hinted that they were back on good terms when she posted on social media about her day with her younger sister.
