Ben Healy’s 81st-minute drop kick saw Edinburgh take a hard-fought victory over Connacht as they sealed their third win of the season and handed the Irish side a first URC loss this campaign.
Wes Goosen opened the scoring as Healy converted before Connacht’s Jack Carty cut the deficit with a penalty as the sides went into halftime at 7-3 in favour of the hosts.

Edinburgh landed tries from Ben Vellacott and Mark Bennett along with conversions and another penalty from Healy.
Tiernan O’Halloran, Joe Joyce and Cian Prendergast responded for Connacht with tries with kicks from Carty.
However, Healy won the game as he stayed calm to drop kick the ball over just in front of the posts as the clock went past 80 minutes.
