Gardaí are “concerned” for the welfare of a missing 28-year-old man who has not been seen since Sunday and is thought to have travelled to Meath.
Peter McCarthy Hughes has been missing from his home in Blanchardstown, Dublin since November 5. He has been described by gardaí as being 5ft 10 in height and of a slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
When last seen he was wearing a wearing a black jumper and shorts. In recent days, Peter may have travelled to Bettystown, Meath in a red Volkswagon Golf car.

Gardaí and Peter’s family are concerned for his welfare and a spokesperson has appealed for information on his whereabouts.
They said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 28-year-old, Peter McCarthy Hughes who is missing from his home in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, since Sunday 5 November.
“Anyone with any information on Peter's whereabouts is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
