It's been 10 years since the couple first met on Dancing On Ice in 2013 and they are now happily married, sharing a gorgeous home with their two children, 10-year-old Freya and four-year-old Yves.
Luckily for fans, the couple have enjoyed glimpses of their glamorous lives over the years and are happy to openthe doors to their bright and warm family home. Firstly, though, their garden is clearly their pride and joy.
The couple often share photos of themselves enjoying a family picnic with their beloved dog Ralf on the lawn or having a cheeky glass of bubbly in the sunshine. Of course, there's plenty of room to try out a few skating lifts, with Sylvain pictured raising Samia above his head as Ralf nibbles on a toy.
There's also enough space for the kids to run about and swings for them to play on. Next to the rattan furniture, there's a luxurious jaccuzzi that provides Samia and Sylvain for the opportunity to have a bit of alone time... unless it's gatecrashed by the kids!
Inside the home, the Corrie actress - who recently marked 20 years on the Cobbles playing the role of Maria Connor - has opted for more muted tones with a grey pallette. The 41-year-old actress and 43-year-old skater’s family kitchen adheres to a neutral colour scheme alongside dark wood cupboards and stainless steel appliances.
Their kitchen is also home to an impressive island-turned breakfast bar, which allows the family to spend precious time together as they share meals and catch up. Elsewhere, in the family’s living room, a large L-shaped sofa can be spotted with an array of comfortable cushions. In the middle of the room, there is an old-fashioned style wooden coffee table topped with a candle, of course.
The family’s home also boasts a playroom, with Sylvain recently sharing a slew of pictures on Instagram of their kids safe haven, which was renovated in recent moments. Captioning the post, he wrote: “Kids are really happy with their playroom makeover and we love our chill out family space!” The designated kids area showcases wooden flooring and an expansive collection of toys, including a rocking horse and plenty of Playmobil characters and a farm for the kids to enjoy.
Whilst their home adheres to the designated colour scheme, the pair have spruced up the place with some personal interior decorations to make it their own. The couple have personalised cushions in the lounge, which include two pillows with a stitch of the letter ’S’, as well as an ampersand symbol. The sweet couple have a timeless monochrome image of the iconic lift scene from Dirty Dancing hung up on the wall - with the pair even recreating that photo during their 2018 New Year’s Eve party. It certainly serves as a touching tribute to their love story, which first began after they met on the ITV show.
