LIV Golf will host the inaugural Promotions Event next month as the build-up to the 2024 season begins.
The 2023 season saw Talor Gooch win the individual award with 192 points and three wins over the year. He finished ahead of second-placed Cameron Smith and Brooks Koepka in third.
While Gooch was claiming the individual crown, some players finished at the wrong end of the standings. LIV Golf relegated four players from the league due to finishing in the bottom six places.

Jediah Morgan, James Piot, Chase Koepka, and Sihwan Kim were all relegated from the LIV Golf series. Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer also finished in the bottom six of the overall standings but kept their place in the league due to being exempt through their roles as team captains.
As part of the process leading up to the new season, LIV Golf is hosting a Promotions Event in Abu Dhabi. The tournament will take place over three days from December 8-10 over four rounds (72 holes) with two rounds on the final day.
The players who finish in the top three in the tournament will automatically qualify for the 2024 season of LIV Golf. Those relegated this year, as well as other players wishing to enter the league, will have the opportunity to compete in the tournament at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
LIV Golf has yet to confirm the full field of players who will be taking part, but it has announced the full prize money. The total purse for the tournament is $1.5 million (£1.2 million).
According to Bunkered, the winner of the tournament will receive $200,000 (£1600,000) in prize money. The runner-up will earn $150,000 (£120,000), while third place will receive $100,000 (£80,000).
LIV Golf also confirmed the full schedule for the 2024 season, which will begin in February. Mayakoba, Mexico will host the first event of the year on February 2, before the league heads to Las Vegas the following week on February 8.
