LIV Golf has finally announced its 14-tournament schedule for the 2024 season, just days after one of its star players - Brooks Koepka - had complained about the wait time.

LIV completed its first full season in 2023, and is set for another full campaign, but with a number of changes. The announcement comes after five-time major champion Koepka appeared to vent his frustrations in the lack of clarity for 2024 in a series of social media comments.

Earlier this week the official LIV Golf Instagram page uploaded a post containing six of its stars sending hypothetical questions, with followers asked in the caption which one they would choose go for.

Koepka attempted to join in the fun, sarcastically responding: "The DM with the schedule for next year would be nice," before quickly deleting his comment. Albeit humorously, the Smash GC captain then reiterated his point on another LIV post which asked fans which player's shoes they'd prefer to sport when back on the golf course.

Returning to the comments section, Koepka brutally wrote: "We don’t know what course cause we haven’t seen the schedule." Koepka however finally has he wish, after the Saudi-funded series outlined its upcoming plans for their second full year.

As per 2023, the breakaway league will start its season at Mayakoba in Mexico in February, but will head to a new venue for it's second event. The rebel league will make its first venture to Las Vegas two weeks into the campaign, with Las Vegas Country Club hosting the LIV setup on the same weekend the Super Bowl heads to Sin City.

There are a number of other new additions too, with the third event named LIV Saudi Arabia, although a venue is yet to be confirmed. The breakaway league will also be hosted by Hong Kong for the very first time, as the 48-man roster also heading to Hong Kong Golf Club in March.

Stateside the breakaway circuit will be venturing to Houston and Nashville, new venues for the circuit and both set to take place in June. There will once again be a stop in the UK, but LIV have opted to move away from the home of their first ever event, Centurion, instead moving to the JCB Golf & Country Club in July.

As well as Mayakoba, four other LIV events from the 2023 schedule have remained for the upcoming 12 months, with the Saudi-backed league returning to Adelaide, Singapore, Andalucia and Greenbrier throughout the year. Its two final events of the campaign - including the Team Championship finale - are yet to be assigned a host course.

In total the opening 12 tournaments of the campaign will take place across eight countries, an aspect LIV and it's CEO Greg Norman pride themselves on. "LIV Golf is the truly global golf league that the sport and its fans deserve," Norman said.

"We’re thrilled to announce an exciting slate of events that reflects our commitment to bringing world-class players and premier competition to new and repeat markets every year. Launching a new league is a massive undertaking, and we’re full steam ahead building off our incredibly successful first full season in 2023.

"Our goal has always been to create a worldwide league that inspires progress and attracts new fans to the sport that we love. LIV Golf is stronger than ever, and next season will accomplish that goal and more.”
