Black Friday 2023 starts a week early for 2023 as Amazon has launched thousands of deals a full week before the official date of Black Friday, November 24.
Amazon Prime Black Friday sales kicked off a full seven days before Black Friday sales usually begin. The online retailer launched a week of sales instead of a single day and thousands of items have been cut in price in time for the big sale. To get access to the deal you will need to be a Prime member. You can sign up for a free Prime trial here if you haven't got a membership already.

Sony PlayStation in Ireland has announced that from November 17 to November 30, players will be able to purchase PlayStation 5 consoles for €449.99 at participating retailers.

Amazon's Black Friday invite-only deal offers €139.43 Fire TV
A popular smart TV that runs hundreds of channels and apps is now part of Amazon's Black Friday invite-only deals, where you need to be chosen to access the offer.
The TCL 40-inch FHD Fire TV has been selected to be a part of an exclusive deal on Amazon with shoppers needing to request an invite in order to purchase the telly.
The TCL Fire TV has been reduced by 50 per cent, down from €273.19 to just €139.43 - a total saving of €133.76..
In order to access this deal, you will need to select request invite that is highlighted in yellow underneath the product - and this will only show up if you are a Prime member.
Amazon has confirmed that it won't be able to grant every request, as stock is limited. Customers are also only allowed to buy one per person.

Viral hand luggage bag that 'saves on airline fees' now €14.06
A viral hand luggage bag that allows you to save money on extra airline fees has gone down a storm with travellers.
The oldable travel bag that fits into the strict Ryanair guidelines for hand luggage. It measures 40cm by 40cm by 25cm, and is 20 litres deep.

AIB forecasts record Black Friday spend in Ireland this year
One of Ireland's leading banks, AIB is forecasting that the online Black Friday spend in Ireland this year will soar past last year's record-breaking total.
In 2022, AIB customers spent €66,000 every minute, a total of €95 million. The bank said this was the highest online spend ever recorded during a single 24-hour period.
A total of 900,000 card transactions by customers were recorded on the day, with the busiest period between 10am and 11am when 59,000 were carried out.
The bank has warned consumers shopping online this year to be aware of frauds and scams targeting them.

Amazon's Black Friday deals on its own products have begun with a series of fantastic offers on its most compact Echo speakers such as Echo Pop (below) which has 60 percent slashed off the price and now costs just €21.10. You can get the deal here.
You can also pick up the highly rated fifth-gen Echo Dot with clock speaker at a 51 percent discount. It now costs just €37.21. One reviewer said it 'offers two times the bass of the previous generation'.
Half price Sony headphones
The Sony WF-C500 have been called the 'best cheap wireless headphones on the market' by reviewers and usually cost €102.97 on Amazon. They very briefly dropped to below €50 last year for a couple of days only and now Amazon has cut the price to its lowest level in a year.
The headphones are €51.47 in the Amazon Black Friday sale after initially being reduced to €65 in the last few weeks. The headphones are the most cost-effective in the Sony wireless range, sitting below the WF-C700N, Linkbuds S and the range-topping WF-1000XM5 which are the best in-ear ANC buds on the market. With a 20-hour battery life and fast charging, they are one of a number of great headphone deals in the new Amazon sale.
Black Friday deals are live: save up to €148.73 on a PS5 + EA FC 24 bundle
The Black Friday deals are now live and there are already some cracking PS5 deals.
You can get your hands on a Playstation 5 with EA FC 24 for €469.06 down from €617.79 which is staggering €148.73 off. You can also get the standard edition of the game on the PS4 for €65.84 reduced from €82.06 and on Xbox One for the same price.
Fans can now get the standard edition of the game on the PS5 with 18 percent off working out at €67.43 while you can get the Playstation 5 itself in the Black Friday sale for €434.74 which is down from its original price of €549.14. The offers are expected to be snapped up fast and, with a PS5+EA FC24 currently on Curry’s for €615, this makes the Amazon deal one of the cheapest around.
However, the PS5 & EA FC 24 bundle also costs just €484.99 on Very.ie, another great deal.
