All-Ireland winning Meath captain Shauna Ennis is hoping her Na Fianna side won't have to play two All-Ireland semi-finals on the same weekend.
As things stand the Enfield outfit will be double jobbing on the weekend after next unless camogie or ladies football chiefs intervene.
Na Fianna completed a Leinster intermediate double at the weekend and have already made representations to the two governing bodies in the hope that a compromise can be reached.
The camogie side are due to face Tyrone’s Eglish with the footballers up against Glamire (Cork) or Tir Chonaill Gaels (London).
Ennis said on X: "Very hopeful we won't have to play two All-Ireland semi-finals within 24 hours of each other at opposite ends of the country."
Na Fianna camogie manager, Niall Burke told LMFM: “To get to this stage we just have to give ourselves the best opportunity to progress.
“It would be unfair if both games were within 24 hours of one another.
“There is a possibility that the football game could be in Cork and we are playing the Ulster champions and I’d imagine it will be a neutral venue so you are traveling north.
“Even from a commuting perspective alone over two days that is going to take a lot of toll on the ladies.
“Hopefully they will come to some sort of agreement that will facilitate both.”
