Prince Harry could be set to return to the United Kingdom after tensions began to diffuse between him, his wife Meghan Markle, and his father King Charles III.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is reported to have given his father a phone call during the week. Harry is said to have phoned his dad to wish him a happy birthday on Tuesday, with the call marking a “turning point” in their relationship.

It was reported on Wednesday that Meghan also had a catch-up with the King via phone call, with Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, treating their grandfather to a pre-recorded video.

It was reported by The Telegraph that the phone call was "warm" and marked a "notable shift in tone" between the King and his son, from whom he has been estranged. And not only has there been a phone call, but it is also claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eyeing a Christmas comeback.

The Times reported that Harry and Meghan would love to return to the UK for Christmas with the Royal Family, although they have not been sent an invite as of yet.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, relationship expert Louella Alderson the co-founder of the So Syncd dating app recently spilled: "If the feud between Harry, Meghan and the Royal Family is still ongoing, having a low-key holiday season could be the best option for the couple's mental and emotional well-being.

"Being in the UK near or with the Royal Family during this time could only add more tension and discomfort. It's also possible that he may choose to return to the UK for a visit at a later time when tensions have eased and it feels right for him."

This comes after the Mirror reported that Kate Middleton is "not ready" to forgive her brother-in-law and his wife. And now, according to sources, Princess Kate is still "hurt" after Harry's "brutal attacks", with her having "no desire to communicate with Harry nor Meghan".
