Rosanna Davison has been left heartbroken after the death of her beloved dog, Ted.
The former Miss World announced to her social media followers that her Pomeranian pooch has “passed away peacefully” after a battle with bladder cancer.
Ted has been part of her family since 2011 and Rosanna said the dog was there for her as a huge support when she was going through her pregnancy journey as she struggled with her fertility.

Sharing pictures of Ted, the mum-of-three wrote: “Our beautiful little Pom lost his battle with bladder cancer today .”
“He was in quite a lot of distress last night so @wesquirke brought him to the emergency vet where he was given pain meds and we were told it was a matter of days.”
“He passed peacefully this afternoon in his fave spot in the sunshine. He came to us as a tiny furball in 2011 and he gave us so much fun, love and cuddles.
“He was our baby during our years of trying to have a family, we’re going to miss him so much,” Rosanna continued. “Rest in peace little Ted.”
Several well-known faces took to social media to offer their condolences.
Lucy Kennedy wrote: “Oh no. I’m so sorry to hear this Xxxxx,” while singer Erica Cody commented: “Sending so much love.”
TV presenter Lorraine Keane commented saying: "Aw Rosie I am so so sorry. Ted is the reason we rescued a Pom. Slipper is my 4th child. Your furry babies had the best life, remember that."
RTE star Laura Fox said: "So sorry for your loss Rosanna."
Former Fair City star Jenny Dixon wrote: "So sorry to hear."
She previously spoke about his cancer diagnosis last year.
She said: “Despite bladder cancer, hypothyroidism, hair loss and having to put up with noisy toddlers, he’s doing really well and still loving life.
“Just brought Ted to the vet for a little scan, blood work, just a check-up on his kidneys and bladder. It's actually really good news. His kidney function has improved, and his bladder tumour is under control as well.
“He hasn't been bleeding or having little clots in his urine at all. It looks like it's not shrunk but it's definitely under control.
“We're buying a little more time and making sure he's not in any pain. Well done, Ted,” she added at the time.
Rosanna and her husband Wes Quirke also sadly lost their other beloved dog Leo suddenly in 2021.
