Rosanna Davison looked unrecognisable in an adorable throwback snap of her first date with husband Wes Quirke.

The former Miss World, 39, shared the picture on a milestone anniversary for the couple as they celebrated 17 years since their first date in 2006.

Rosanna and Wes first met after she went for a spray tan appointment in his cousin’s salon in Donnybrook and he messaged her on Bebo afterwards.

Marking the anniversary of their first date on Instagram, Rosanna shared the throwback snap along with a recent one, writing: "Last week. What’s rare is precious.

"It was almost 17 years to the day since our first date - which we have a photo of! Showed the kids earlier and they didn’t really care. In fact, Oscar tried to bury it under some gravel."

Rosanna celebrated her nine-year wedding anniversary with Wes Quirke this year. The happy couple married in 2014 and now share three children together, daughter Sophia and twins Oscar and Hugo.

They officially married in a civil ceremony at the luxurious Merrion Hotel in Dublin in May 2014, before their wedding ceremony at the Atzaro hotel and Spa in Ibiza on June 1, 2014.

Recalling the moment they first met at the time, Rosanna said: “We had met briefly a few years before through his cousin who my friend had worked for, and then, this is 2006, I got a message on Bebo, saying, ‘Hi I’m Wes, you were just in my cousin's salon yesterday, I hope you were well looked after.’

“We chatted for a few weeks. I was just out of a four-year relationship, and he was six months out of a four-year relationship, so we were both single.

“About six weeks later we said we’d meet up so a gang of my girlfriends and a gang of his guy friends all met up in Club 92.

“It all went from there.”
