Ryan Tubridy has fuelled speculation over his next career move after sharing a photo of himself meeting with This Morning host Craig Doyle in London.

Dublin native Doyle is currently part of a rotating presenting team on the ITV show, following the departure of Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

“London life! Great to catch up with Mr. Craig Doyle,” Tubridy wrote on Instagram.

Following the former Late Late Show host’s departure from RTÉ in August, Doyle confessed that he missed hearing Tubridy on the radio “so much”.

It’s the second time that the ex-RTÉ presenter has been spotted in London in recent months, having previously stoked rumours that his next career move could see him destined for the UK.

On his previous trip, Tubridy met up with TalkTV’s Piers Morgan and made an appearance on Chris EvansVirgin Radio show.

One rumour that the TV star appears to have quashed is that he may be heading for the I’m a Celebrity jungle next week.

There had been speculation that he was among a number of Irish celebrities, including Vogue Williams, Maura Higgins and Una Healy, who may be taking part in the ITV hit series, which will air on Virgin Media in Ireland later this month.

But he wrote on Instagram recently: “Just so you know, I can’t speak for Maura or Una but as far as I’m concerned (and as much as I love Ant and Dec), this is never going to happen.”

Meanwhile, Craig Doyle remains a firm favourite to land a role as a full-time presenter on This Morning.

ITV bosses have yet to identify permanent replacements for the show’s former stars following a turbulent year for the programme.

Doyle is one of a number of personalities who have hosted the show recently, including Dermot O’Leary, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, and Alison Hammond.

Cat Deeley, the wife of Tubridy’s successor on the Late Late Show, Patrick Kielty, is also expected to present This Morning in the coming weeks.
