Ex-RTE star Ryan Tubridy has hit out at a fake social media profile impersonating the host.
The former Late Late Show host has been plagued with scammers pretending to be him by using fake profiles on Instagram.
'Tubs' shared another warning to his followers, saying “another head-the-ball” was “acting the maggot” with his image.

Sharing a screenshot of the fake account @instatubridyryan_official, which had just over 1,200 followers, and stated in its biography that it was the broadcaster’s “only private account” alongside heart and praying hands emoji.
The bio added: "Hosts The Late Late Show & The Ryan Tubridy Show”.
Ryan added a large sticker that read “FAKE X” and wrote: “Yet another head-the-ball acting the maggot! Please ignore.”
It comes after he said it is like “whack-a-mole” trying to remove the “crazy” amount of social media accounts that attempt to imitate him online.
"Honestly, the amount of these fake accounts is crazy, it’s like whack-a-mole trying to get rid of them but you all spot them a mile away,” he said as he shared another bogus account back in September.
"Thank you for passing on the details, I appreciate it.”
The account had over 2,000 followers and used the same profile picture as Tubridy’s actual account.
In April, he urged fans to “please ignore” any messages they might receive from another account purporting to be the radio host.
"Working on getting it removed,” he said.
The Dubliner has previously hit out at scams that used his face on posts selling a cryptocurrency training program.
"I really want to make this really abundantly clear this morning that I have nothing to do with cryptocurrency," he said on The Ryan Tubridy Show last March.
“I’m sure it's making some people somewhere a lot of money but I have nothing to do with it. So please tell all your friends when you see that ad… it’s not me.”
Other Irish celebrities have had to issue similar warnings about fake social media profiles in recent months.
RTÉ star Doireann Garrihy issued a warning earlier this year after a profile pretending to be the Dancing with the Stars host was running “a money giveaway”.
In the same month, singer Una Healy shared another word of warning when a fake account was using her name and “trying to scam people”.
Una recorded a video to prove to fans her Instagram account is the only one she has, telling followers to “report and block those scammers because they need to be stopped”.
And Anne Doyle has also been targeted in fake online stories on Facebook.
