Ryan Tubridy has pulled out of a speaking gig tomorrow that would have been his first public appearance since leaving RTÉ amid the payments row.
The ex-RTE star was set to be a keynote speaker at the Women and Agriculture conference at the Lyrath hotel in Kilkenny on Wednesday, October 25.
The host was announced to take part in a "fireside chat" with Ciara Leahy of Irish Country Living, who are organising the event.

The pair were due to talk about his time hosting chat shows, presenting radio programmes and writing best-selling books.
However, Ciara confirmed to the Irish Daily Mirror that the former Late Late Show host has "unfortunately" cancelled his appearance.
She said: "However, we are delighted to announce that both Brendan Courtney and Síle Seoige will now be speaking at the event."
Tickets are already sold out for the conference, which is a one-day event held in Lyrath Estate from 9.30am - 5.30pm.
The Irish Mirror has reached out to the presenter’s agent, NK Management, for comment.
It comes just after Ryan responded to rumours he will be appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after being backed by punters to take part in this year's series.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes suspect Ryan could take part in the popular jungle-based series, which returns to our screens next month.
He currently has odds of 10/1 to switch from broadcaster to reality star, alongside other famous Irish faces including Una Healy, Maura Higgins, Greg O’Shea and Vogue Williams.
However, he took to social media to rubbish the rumours, telling his Instagram followers: "Just so you know, I can't speak for Maura or Una but as far as I'm concerned (and as much as I love Ant and Dec), this is never going to happen."
It comes as speculation remains rife over what Tubs' next career move will be following his dramatic departure from RTE earlier this year.
He fuelled speculation that a move to the UK could be on the cards in recent months, with a high-profile visit to London, where he appeared on Chris Evans’ radio show and was pictured catching up with Piers Morgan.
