Tiger Woods has confirmed that he will play at the PNC Championship with his son Charlie in December in what will be his second tournament after his comeback.
The American has been away from the sport for the last seven months after picking up an ankle injury at the Masters which forced him to withdraw in the third-round. Since then, Woods has undergone ankle surgery while spending the summer and autumn time rehabbing in preparation for his return.
That return will come later this month when Woods steps onto the course in the Bahamas. He will play at the Albany Golf Club in his own tournament, the Hero World Challenge, as part of the PGA Tour.
Then just a few weeks later, he will pair up with his 14-year-old son at the PNC Championship in Orlando - a tournament that looks to be one of his favourites with him having the chance to be paired with his son.

Speaking on playing in the PNC, Woods said: "It is an amazing gift to be able to share my love of golf with Charlie and we genuinely do look forward to playing in the PNC Championship all year. Competing together against a field of so many golfing greats and their families, is so special."
Tiger and Charlie finished runners-up in the event in 2021 - losing out to John Daly and his son, John Daly II, before finishing in eighth place last year.
Charlie has had a strong rise in the golfing world in recent months - even trumping his legendary father after becoming a high school state champion golfer - something Tiger did not achieve.

Woods Jr shot rounds of 78 and 76 across 36 holes to win the Florida state championship - while the teenager has impressed when playing with his father at the PNC in recent years.
It was unclear whether Woods would be able to play in the tournament this year as he comes back from his ankle injury - which saw him limping around the course at Augusta.
But after announcing his comeback, the 47-year-old stated that he has no issues with his ankles at present.
He said: "My ankle is fine. Where they fused my ankle, I have absolutely zero issue whatsoever. That pain is completely gone. It’s the other areas that have been compensated for. But all the surrounding areas are where I had all my problems and still do."
