Fans have been left confused by rugby player Ben Foden's change of accent as he shared a video with wife Jackie.
In the clip, Ben, who shares two children with ex-wife Una Healy, can be seen talking to his daughter Farrah as wife Jackie has a pregnancy scan with their second child. Captioning the clip shared on Instagram, Jackie wrote: " 30 weeks down! Approx 8 more to go!"
In the clip, an excited Ben - born in Chester, England - can be seen hugging daughter Farrah as mum Jackie films the ultrasound. As an excited Farrah points to the ultrasound screen and claims, "That's the baby's nose!", Ben interjects as he replies, "That's the baby's belly" in a seemingly American accent.

Confused by Ben's change of accent from his British to a seemingly American one, one fan commented with a laughing emoji: "Why is he talking in an American accent". Yet wife Jackie responded: "He still sounds British to me though!" Another fan spotted Ben's accent change as they added": "an American accent now for Ben". Jackie later added: "He still sounds British to me! But yah he’s probably slowly warping into a male version of me."
Ben and Jackie announced their pregnancy last month after revealing that Jackie had sadly suffered three miscarriages. They have shared their happy news three years on from the arrival of their daughter Farrah. The couple wed in August 2019 after just two weeks of "seriously" dating and a year after Ben split with his wife of six years Una Healy.
Jackie's pregnancy is her fourth in the space of a year after going through three devastating miscarriages. The couple had almost given up hope until they had some unexpected news back in April. They have shared they tried to not get their hopes up when they saw the two lines on the pregnancy test. Jackie admitted: "It’s hard not to get your hopes up when you really want another baby." She found out that her progesterone levels were off thanks to a hunch from her mum.
Speaking to OK Magazine, Jackie shared: “We like Ford for a boy, or Sebastian or Lazarus. For a girl, we love Olympia or Octavia.” While Ben was quick to make it clear only Jackie liked the girls names.
Ben shared: “She’s so devoted to making Farrah happy and I can’t wait to see the love she gives to our next child. It’s funny, when we first got together, Jackie soppily said to me, ‘I don’t think I’ll ever love anyone more than I love you.’ Then the baby came along and I was a swift second – maybe even third now!”
